The Northern Suburbs Rail Project presents a unique opportunity for urban renewal and development in Hobart's growing northern suburbs. Utilising the existing rail tracks in Hobart’s northern suburbs, a battery-operated light rail service to Brighton will provide world-class public transport for residents of the northern suburbs, and act as a catalyst to stimulate economic growth and opportunities for all of Hobart, but our time to act is limited.
